Let’s make a Great Cold Brew!

Looking for a great bean for a Cold Brew? We have a bean you may want to try!

Our Brazil beans are grown at a high-elevation producing a sweet caramel, toffee with a touch of citric brightness upfront while maintaining a smooth nutty & milk chocolate base with low acidity making for a great cold brew.

To keep that clean, smooth & a tad bit sweeter profile, we recommend letting the beans extract in the fridge for 14-20 hours before drinking and not sitting on the counter. The cold helps give the smoothness.
Make sure you remove the coffee grinds within the 24 hour extraction window once the coffee suites your taste. Leaving the grinds in too long will have reverse, muddy effects.

Also beans used for Cold Brewing do not need to rest after being freshly roasted like drip or espresso. Just a couple of days and they are ready to go!

Make sure to grind at a higher course grind like sea salt.

My fav. way to drink a cold brew, is to dilute it even more, and drink it throughout the day, keeping the caffeine levels reasonable. Gives a great little punch to my daily water intake. I do not like creamers or sugars. That’s just my pref.

Our Brazil Beans also taste great as a hot pour over/drip as well. A great all around bean!

Our 28oz Kitchen Aid Cold Brew container uses approx. 3.5oz of beans which we grind at a 9.5 on our Fellows Opus 2.0
*Cold brews require a larger grind size.
