Scott’s Foil Insulation Trick & Black & Decker Portable AC in Garage to Battle the 115F Arizona heat!

Scott reached out with a review and some photos of how he insulated his garage door with some foil duct insulation rolls.

He is using a Black & Decker Smart Portable AC 14,000 BTU unit and used our Under Garage door vent with the Extra Large AC Vents.

He had the following to say after running the setup for a few weeks.

Thanks to your narrow garage vent, the ability for the Portable AC to cool the garage down has improved drastically.  The vent creates just the right amount of space that allows easier work to seal up two inch gap versus a 12 inch gap. AWESOME Job Ryan. Thanks for creating this much needed device. Especially for out here in Arizona where temps will be 115 plus all week.
