ABOUT THE WEIR
The Red Sea Max Nano is a great little marine aquarium however many replace the stock protein skimmer and pump because they can be noisy and also to free up some space. This creates an issue where the stock weir overflows into the skimmer chamber allowing crud to bypass the floss / sock and creating a trickling noise.
This baffle clips into the weir and resolves the issue, it also creates a better chamber to add floss.
ABOUT THE MEDIA CUP
Fits the Red Sea Max Nano to replace the need of expensive filter socks. Can hold bag of media with some filter floss on top.

ABOUT THE SILENCER
Placed overtop of our Red Sea Max Nano Filter Media cup, to help keep out larger debris.
Allows for Floss/media to be used in the return section of the Red Sea Max Nano when not using the filter sock.
Also helps even the water flow coming into the cup, to help quite/silence the flow of water.

This is awsome for the Red Sea max nano prevents overflow making all the water go directly to the filter sock or media holder rather than overflowing into the rear sump compartment !!!! Highly recommend this product and on top of everything it is great quality
Fantastic item, seller was very helpful n answering all my questions.
The guard fits mostly okay, but the media basket has been unusable for my max nano. Ive spent the last month experimenting with it, but no matter what i put in it, the water just bypasses over the overflow unless its completely empty. Even with just a thin piece of floss in it.
Perfect fit and so much easier than filter socks.
