Started noticing my Ego Snow blower was rusting badly and being torn up from the bare metal scraping on the concrete.
Designed these Skid Shoes to help the snow blower handle uneven surfaces better and also help protect the metal to contract scraping contact.
Kit includes a skid for each side along with stainless steel mounting hardware.
Works for the following Models
– SNT2100
– SNT2101
– SNT2102
– SNT2101
– SNT2102
– SNT2110
– SNT2112
– SNT2114
– SNT2102
WILL NOT WORK FOR SNT2125 with the Heated Grips
You will need to drill 3/16th holes into your snow blower to mount these skids. It works best to use the skids as a template when drilling the holes.
*Note: Drill bit is not included.
Left & Right is based on standing in front of the snow blower with the nuts going on the inside of the snow blower.
Recommended using some black paint/primer on the drilled holes to keep rust from forming, but not a requirement.
You will receive 2 pad thicknesses with your order. Depending on how much you have worn your scraper down, you may find pads designed for a new snow blower are too thick. Use whichever pad thickness

After two years of Colorado snowfalls and a three-car driveway with uneven pads I have destroyed the back scraper. Installation was fairly straightforward, I’m a little worried that the screw holes were drilled so close to the edge so you can see from the photos. I’ll update Tuesday as we have a big storm moving in this weekend and will have a chance to try out. I’m really looking forward to not getting enough on the uneven pavement!
Purchased these items for an Ego 21” single stage snow blower. The unit did not have these skids when purchased. Installation was not difficult but did require a bit of thought. Been happy with the performance of my Ego snow blower since installing the skids. Please note that with these front skids you may not scrape surfaces bare with you snow blower.

This is a must have for Ego snowblowers! I was frustrated after using my new snowblower for the first time and kept getting hung up/stopped by every little crack in the driveway. After installing these shoes, now it goes over most cracks with no issues. I’m stumped as to why Ego doesn’t already have something like this on their snowblowers from the factory, but thank goodness some genius out there came up with these!
