Neodymium Epoxy Coated Disc Magnet sealed in Reef safe Silicone and PETG

The auction is for a qty of 1 Sealed Magnet.

These are the magnets we use in all our products. Magnets and saltwater are a hard combo. Salt corrodes everything. So we first start with a very strong Neodymium Magnet that’s coated in Epoxy from the factory as a first layer of defense. We then print out using PETG a snap fit covering and place another layer of reef safe silicone around the magnet for an extra protection.

This also adds the additional benefit of protecting the magnet from drops or scratches. Just like how your phone case protects your phone. Colors outside of Black may take an additional couple days to print as we do not always have these colors in inventory. Sizing: 33.6mm (1.33″) in Diameter | 6.4mm (.25″) Thick

Magnet Notice:
Magnets and saltwater is a tough combination. Our Magnets are epoxy coated as a first layer of defense. We then encase our magnets within our 3D prints with solid infill, then glue everything together with 100% reef safe silicone as an extra layer of protection. We find this combination does a great job of keeping the saltwater away from our Magnets.
