Magnets and saltwater is a tough combination. Our Magnets are epoxy coated as a first layer of defense. We then encase our magnets within our 3D prints with solid infill, then glue everything together with 100% reef safe silicone as an extra layer of protection. We find this combination does a great job of keeping the saltwater away from our Magnets.

Product is good so far….magnets are weak at best and barly hold my probe to the glass….and thats with double magnets….seller needs to take in account the thickness of the glass and plastic after incasing the magnets….stronger magnets are needed for this application.

I expected a bit of a better fit. The magnet built into the unit is just a little to low and pushes the device away a bit. Works and a must have for mounting in tank or sump.
