This adapter allows you to convert a tank rim up to 2.3″ down to a 1/4in rim. Perfect for small fans, lights, Ai Prime Light, etc.

this works so well for rimmed aquariums! I am glad there are some user manuals/videos. I am a fool and I lost the gear shaped tightener thingy (very sad) but I was still able to tighten the screws fairly well without it (I kind of wish I could buy that separately again). I also love how customizable the fittings are. no odor or leakage from the material that I or my fish can tell!
