this works so well for rimmed aquariums! I am glad there are some user manuals/videos. I am a fool and I lost the gear shaped tightener thingy (very sad) but I was still able to tighten the screws fairly well without it (I kind of wish I could buy that separately again). I also love how customizable the fittings are. no odor or leakage from the material that I or my fish can tell!
I purchased two of these for attaching Hygger pendant lights to my 75gal rimmed aquarium. Spending almost $40 for a small 3D printed piece of plastic feels kind of bad, honestly, but there is obviously some engineering that goes into designing these products and that’s what you’re paying for. It would be nice if there was a wider option for the bracket. A wider bracket would feel more sturdy and accommodate larger accessories.
The item seemed sturdy and well made but unfortunately did not fit my needs as I needed it for a Current USA Orbit bracket to fit my thicker rimmed tank and this bracket was not wide enough for the mounting arm to attach to.
